From 12 to 15 March, in conjunction with the March school holiday, 20 members and their families embarked on a short getaway to Bangkok, Thailand. The first day saw members checking in at the Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada, where a 4-course dinner was prepared for them. Members were seen chatting with each other during dinner, while others were discussing their itinerary for the rest of the trip.
SMOU organised tours for members to visit the Maeklong Railway market, Damnoen Sadauk Floating Market, Icon Siam, and Asiatique The Riverfront. Members were seen whipping out their phones to take videos and pictures of the view, all while welcoming the new experience.
