Retirement may seem far away for those who are still working, but it is never too early to start planning for it. Thanks to SMOU, a financial talk on planning for the future was organised for members who are interested in leveling up their financial planning. Held at the Mariners’ Lounge on 11 July 2023, the financial talk was facilitated by Lean Sing, Senior Client Advisor from Endowus.
During the talk, members discovered what happens to their Central Provident Fund (CPF) when they hit the age of 55 years old and learned about the CPF Lifelong Income For the Elderly (CPF LIFE) insurance annuity scheme. Members learned how to manage their CPF better, grow their retirement savings, and consider the Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) for investments.
With the expert advice from the Endowus financial consultant, members were able to have a clearer grasp on how to futureproof their financial goals.
