As part of SMOU’s efforts to enhance the health and well-being of its members, a workshop on foot ergonomics was organised to educate members on how to find the right footwear to provide proper support for the feet and how to prevent common foot ailments.

Held at the Mariners’ Lounge on 17 January, more than 20 SMOU members got the opportunity to learn from Ms Jasmine Xie, a physiotherapist from PhysioClinic, where she introduced the concept of good ergonomics and how to get their feet muscles moving. The insightful talk gave members a better understanding, and it was indeed a great afternoon of learning.
