29 SMOU members ignited their passion for mobile photography in SMOU Mobile Photography Workshop.
Held at NTUC Centre on 2 March 2024, the training session led by professional photographer Mr. Bernard Teo focused on teaching members the skill of capturing images with their mobile devices. His engaging lesson with combined lecture-style learning and insightful presentations derived from his wide professional experience.
Participants were not only inspired but also introduced to the essential fundamentals of photography. They learned the details of setting aperture, mastering shutter speed and sensitivity, controlling exposure on mobile devices, employing photo composition techniques, and editing raw photos using mobile apps.
With the new knowledge learnt during the workshop, SMOU members eagerly embarked on a hands-on photography challenge. Capturing the essence of three distinct themes – nature, architecture, and landscape – in the lively area of Raffles Place. With their mobile devices as their tools, participants eagerly set out to unleash their creativity. With the equipped skills, SMOU members are eager to share the joy of mobile photography with their loved ones.
