A whopping 240 SMOU members and family came together once again for the Family Connection—Year End Celebration on the Saturday of 7 December 2019. At Faber Peak was where the festivities began, as the Christmas decorations set the magical Christmas mood of the event, and an ‘Olaf’ snowman mascot greeted the families arriving at the ballroom. Families tucked into the hearty buffet line consisting of festive offerings like turkey and log cake; many were seen bobbing their heads and singing along to familiar tunes of the season played by the live band. A mesmerising bubble show followed as children were captivated by the performance of the elf-outfitted lady. They erupted in loud cheers as they attempted to burst the bubbles floating overhead!

Before the night ended, the special appearance of Santa Claus had everyone whipping out their phones to snap pictures! It was definitely an unforgettable way to end the year, and beaming faces filled the place at the end of the day.
