What an unforgettable adventure! Some 78 SMOU senior members embarked on a 3-day trip to the vibrant city of Melaka from 24-26 October, and the memories will last a lifetime!
The journey began with a smooth ride from Singapore, and the excitement started right away! Upon arriving in Melaka, the group indulged in a delicious Peranakan lunch and enjoyed some retail therapy at Freeport A’Farmosa Outlet. The evening wrapped up with a heartwarming Welcome Buffet Dinner where everyone caught up, laughed, and made new memories!
Day two was filled with exploration and discovery, from soaking in the rich history of Melaka to everyone’s favorite activity—SHOPPING! The real fun came when the group took part in the Mamee Making Workshop at Mamee Jonker House! Members got hands-on, crafting their own Mamee noodle cups, complete with their favorite seasonings, and witnessed the magic behind the mini noodle factory. And the best part? They got to take home their very own creations along with a Mamee goodie bag!
On the final day, the shopping spree continued, with members picking out Nyonya Kueh treats and exploring Paradigm Shopping Mall in Johor Bahru.
The trip was more than just sightseeing; it was a chance for everyone to bond, share moments, and create lasting connections. From the beautiful city of Melaka to the bustling streets of Johor Bahru, this trip was a reminder of the joy in spending quality time with family and friends.
