The Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union (SMOU) welcomed over 130 esteemed shipping partners to the annual C.U.R.E. Cocktail Dinner on 15 November 2024. Held at Lighthouse Bistro in the Wavelink Building, the event provided a valuable platform for networking and reconnecting with tripartite partners from the maritime industry.
In her opening remarks, SMOU General Secretary extended a warm welcome to all attendees and expressed gratitude for their ongoing support of SMOU and the global seafaring community.
The evening allowed shipping companies—both long-standing partners and new friends—to foster meaningful connections and strengthen relationships, paving the way for deeper collaboration.
Amid the evolving challenges of the maritime industry, the event highlighted the importance of strong partnerships in ensuring resilience and sustainability. SMOU remains committed to working closely with its partners to support seafarers’ needs and navigate the future together.
