The Lunar New Year season is all about gathering together and catching up over meals. SMOU seized the opportunity and affirmed ties with Shipping Companies and Tripartite partners over the festive season.
Tripartite partners were invited to the Lighthouse Bistro for dinner, with guests including the Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Quah Ley Hoon, and the president of the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA), Caroline Yang. The cheery social setting around the dinner table reaffirmed friendships and bonds.
Representatives from shipping companies were also hosted at Lighthouse Bistro, which included the customary “LoHei,” wishing companies a smooth-sailing year ahead. Many relationships were strengthened during this period as SMOU and maritime partners prepare for the year ahead.
