The SMOU Lunar New Year (LNY) Golf League 2025 kicked off at Orchid Country Club (OCC) on 5 February, bringing together over 42 golfers for a day of friendly competition and festive fun.
The weather was cool and refreshing, setting the perfect stage for golfers to showcase their skills. Everyone was eager to hit the course and swing their irons with precision, but it wasn’t just about the game, it was also about connecting with others.
After the game, the festivities continued with a Lo Hei ceremony, symbolising prosperity for the year ahead, followed by a buffet dinner and drinks. Everyone eagerly raised their chopsticks—HUAT! The day wrapped up with the presentation of prizes by SMOU Treasurer, Brother Yong Soon Huat, and an exciting lucky draw. The top winners were presented their prizes by SMOU Assistant Treasurer, Brother Tan Geh Ting.
With great competition and strong bonding, the 2024 LNY Golf League was a hit. It’s a tradition we look forward to every year!
