The Programme titled Ship Preparation & Singapore Bunkering Procedures was conceived to equip Marine Engineering Officers with the necessary knowledge for safe bunkering operations. The programme covers extensively the problems encountered during bunkering, the importance of sampling and use of the mass flow meters, and understanding the Singapore Standards for Bunkering SS600 and SS648, as well as the handling of the bunkering documentation and disputes in Singapore.
