It was a special and happy day for pre-schoolers on 6 October, when SMOU celebrated Children’s Day with My First Skool (MFS) Jalan Sultan Centre, SMOU’s adopted childcare and pre-school centre. Close to 160 children were in for a surprise, and the air of anticipation thick with excitement.
Minion mascot made a surprise appearance, much to the delight of the infant children. They sang at the top of their voices to popular tunes such as Baby Shark and nursery rhymes. The best part was when the children could come up close and take a snapshot with their favourite minion.
Then, there was the balloon sculptors who captivated the childcare children with their creations from dinosaurs to swans, flowers and swords. Every child had their pick of which balloon they liked.
Spellbound by the magician, the kids were amazed by the magical disappearing acts and stories.
The sound of joy and laughter could be heard as the pre-schoolers from MFS Jalan Besar, will remember children’s day celebrated with SMOU as an exuberant fun day.
