Dr Michael George Mitchell, a dedicated member of the Union for 27 years, passed away at the age of 87.
A respected marine engineer and former Director of MBS Consultants Pte. Ltd., Dr Mitchell made significant contributions to the maritime community throughout his distinguished career. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr Mitchell was a cherished colleague, friend, and above all, a devoted husband to Veda and father to Leanne and James.
Fondly remembered as a true English gentleman, gracious, kind, and one of a kind, his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
