During the pandemic, the continued function of the Singapore Port was also made possible because of swift collaboration by tripartite partners to maintain safe operations at the port. Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Transport, Mr Chee Hong Tat, commended maritime tripartite partners in a Facebook post, saying, “MaritimeSG has remained resilient despite the difficult environment last year, an achievement possible only with the strong tripartite partnership we have in Singapore.”

While the maritime industry continues to journey on the road to recovery, we honour the sacrifices of our seafarers and key maritime workers while pressing on with tripartite initiatives to accelerate crew change for our seafarers in the region and beyond.
