Some 60 cadets from across Asia participated in the recent CadetsPlus Programme conducted by Wavelink Maritime Institute (WMI) from 25 July to 5 August 2022.

The programme was delivered online through a virtual classroom platform covering modules encompassing Confident Conversation in English & Personal Effectiveness, Maritime Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental Protection, and Maritime Legislative Requirements.

The 60 cadets who were nominated respectively by the 14 participating shipping employers were from 6 countries: India, Sri Lanka, China, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Myanmar.
