On the morning of 18 December, SMOU officials Mr Rahim Jaffar (SMOU President), Alvin Cheong (Executive Secretary), Dominic Yong (YSMOU Chairman), & Joyce Lee (Assistant Secretary) celebrated the Christmas season with some 140 children and parents from My First Skool (MFS) Jalan Sultan Centre in festive singing, party games, and a performance by a magician!
Santa Claus surprised everyone with his appearance, interacted with the children, brought presents, and posed for photos, making the children cheer in Christmas wonder. SMOU officials further spread the Christmas joy by distributing lunch boxes as gifts to the children. It was definitely a wonderful and memorable day for the children and parents at MFS!
“Today’s celebration is one of the best ones that SMOU has organised. The programme is interesting, and the kids really enjoyed themselves, especially at the magic show! Thank you, SMOU, for organising such a wonderful Christmas party for the children.”
– Jason, Father of Yao Wen
“My daughter probably enjoyed the game activities the most because she is a very active kid. She also really liked the recent movie event that SMOU organised. I think the union has done a really good job, organising events that benefit the children from this centre!”
– Bee Hua, Mother of Kayleen
