On 24 December 2020, the union prepared gift bags for 15 vessels who called at the Singapore port to thank them for their dedication and hard work to keep the supply chain moving around the world. Officials from SMOU and MTSS caught up with the Master and Chief Engineer to understand more about their lives onboard as well as the admin operations on housing the crew members waiting to sign on.
