48 SMOU members and their families came together 12 to 15 June 2025 for an unforgettable trip to Sekinchan, Malaysia, that was filled with adventure, full of laughter, discovery, and new friendships.
A welcomed buffet dinner for everyone after they checked into Ibis KL; it was the perfect way to kick off the trip with catching up with old friends and making new ones.
The adventure truly began with a magical morning at the Sky Mirror on Sasaran Beach, where the shimmering waters created a stunning backdrop for countless memorable photos. The group then immersed themselves in the local culture, visiting the Sekinchan Rice Mill Factory and the charming Ah Ma House. Along the way, refreshing guava snacks and coconut shakes kept everyone energised and smiling.
In Kuala Lumpur, excitement continued with a climb up the iconic 272 colorful steps of Batu Caves, followed by a stroll through the historic Merdeka Square and the discovery of the intricate craftsmanship behind pewter-making at the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory.
With hearts full and bags packed with memories, everyone returned home reminiscing about the fun, culture, and camaraderie experienced during this special trip. Excitement is already building for the next SMOU adventure—where will it take us next?
