On the walk back to the entrance of Bird Paradise, the entourage dropped in at the sheltered state-of-the-art and sustainable Penguin Cove. The biodome simulated after Macquarie Island provided a perfect environment for penguins to feel just at home. Visitors could see playful penguins swimming in the deep and chilling by the island, peering back at them. Seniors were fascinated by the penguins and took pictures to capture this moment of fun with the aquatic flightless birds. There was a moment reserved for senior songbirds to engage in a time of karaoke after visiting the Penguin Cove. Many photo-taking opportunities abound throughout the excursion.
