SMOU has always cared for the welfare of our long-time members and families, even after they have passed on. The late Mr Cheng Tim Keng had been an SMOU member for 42 years before he passed on at the age of 83, leaving behind his wife, Mdm Sim Yeep Leng, and three children. His wife shared that he frequently participates in SMOU’s annual Lunar New Year Luncheon, gala dinners and shopping trips.

In remembrance of the late Mr Cheng, SMOU President Rahim Jaffar visited the family of the deceased member to offer condolences and to present the SMOU Death Benefit Payout and care pack.
