Late 74-year-old SMOU member Mr Rahmat Bin Sahat left behind his wife and three children. Having been an SMOU member for the last 26 years, he was an ardent supporter of the union’s events. The late Mr Rahmat also ensured that his family could enjoy the benefits of the union. His daughter, Ms Farahliana, was an SMOU Bursary Awards recipient from 2016 to 2018. Pictured here with SMOU General Secretary Mary Liew, Farahliana was presented with the SMOU Death Benefit payout and care pack containing essential items.
