Strong tripartite ties were celebrated and reaffirmed at SMOU’s Company Union Rapport Exercise (C.U.R.E.) cocktail.
Attended by over 130 tripartite partners from the maritime industry, the casual setting at Lighthouse Bistro encouraged stronger personal bonding and meaningful exchanges and also catching up with the latest maritime news in the shipping community.
SMOU General Secretary Mary Liew expressed her gratitude to the shipping community, “It is because of our strong tripartite relationship that we are able to impact the lives of workers in the maritime industry by placing training a priority.”
“I enjoy coming to C.U.R.E. every year because it brings people together—we get to exchange and explore new ideas and also get updated on SMOU’s welfare and training schemes.”
– Capt. Preetraj Singh Sobti, M.T.M Ship Management Pte. Ltd. Senior Manager
“This is the first time I’m attending the C.U.R.E. cocktail, and it is a really good opportunity to build strong ties and exchange ideas with the shipping community. Thank you, SMOU, for organising this event. It is very interesting and useful for the industry.”
– Mr Jacques Dusson, CMA Ships Singapore Managing Director
“I look forward to this event every year, as it is very relevant for the shipping community and also a great platform to catch up with everyone in a cosy and casual setting.”
– Mr Dennis Svane Hansen, BW Fleet Management Pte Ltd Vice President – Head of Global Manning
