Football is Singapore’s favourite sport. So, when there was a call to play futsal, Young SMOU (YSMOU) went all out with some fancy footwork. Two teams from YSMOU participated in the Singapore Teachers’ Union 5v5 Inter-Union Invitational Futsal Competition.

Some 120 footie enthusiasts from various unions congregated at the Orchid Country Club for the love of the game. Playing against teams from other unions, the futsal competition provided the platform for building camaraderie amongst union members. YSMOU team players put their skill to the test, as they dribbled, volleyed and passed the ball, finding every opportunity to put the ball into the opposing team’s nets. A true display of sportsmanship.

New friendships were forged through the futsal competition. Let’s keep the inter-union futsal ball rolling!
